This weekend in Europe they will be played 5 tests of the IRONMAN franchise where the Club La Santa Lanzarote stands out, celebrating its XXIX edition, HOMBRE DE HIERRO UK or the IRONMAN 70.3 Andorra where there will be a good representation of Spaniards.
In the Andorra test they will be competing Albert Moreno, Julen Díez, Erik Merino, Victor del Corral, Jordi Montraveta, Axel Beci, Guillem Rojas, Francesc Artigues and Laura Gomez in the women's test
As for the favorites in the men's event, they stand out Cameron Wurf, who returns to compete after the fifth victory in the MD European Championship in Girona last month, William Mennenson, the double medalist in Kona David McNamee o Filipe Azevedo although the Spanish can choose to fight for the podium
In the women's event they stand out Emma Bilham , Margie santamaria or a Ellie salthouse besides the Spanish Laura Gomez who comes to the test after the victory in the La Rioja Triathlon
The test will begin with 1.900 meters of swimming in Lake Angolasters (the highest lake where a triathlon of these characteristics has been done so far and with a temperature close to 10 degrees in the water)
The 90-kilometer cycling segment has 2.000 meters of positive elevation gain and the 21-kilometer race will be 3 laps
