War of the Sexes? Lisbon Triathlon will have "Olympic Plus" Distance

The next 4 of Mayo Lisboa will host the most recognized Half Distance Triathlon nationally and as a novelty, today has been confirmed the same day the test of "Olympic Plus Distance " which will have 950m swimming - 45 km Bike to finish with 10.5 km running on foot, being a proof "non-drafting "

This appointment, called as "The war of the sexes" will have two outputs, the first female, just 12 minutes before the male, which is exactly the difference between the times between the current champion of this male distance with the winner of this distance in Portugal in the 2012.

The Lisbon Olympic Triathlon will have trophies for the top three finishers, male or female. In addition, the first to reach the finish line will have a cash prize of 500 euros, and will be crowned as  "King ou Queen of Lisbon Olympic Plus - Battle of the Sexes" 

Registrations will cost € 40, participation being very limited, only the first 300 who formalize their registration will have their place confirmed in the "Olympic Plus" Triathlon in Lisbon. The opening date will be next January 1.
