Sprint and Olympic distances in the XII Edition of the Riaza Triathlon

La XII edition of Riaza triathlon is coming, an event that this year will celebrate its 12th edition.

This year, due to the call for elections, the test will be held on Saturday, July 22.

The Riaza triathlon offers two distances to participate, Sprint and Olympic, thus offering options for different levels.

Registration is limited to 600 participants, distributed in 300 for each distance, which guarantees a high quality event.

Dutricup Circuit

In addition, it will be the last stage of the Dutricup circuit that began in January with the Tres Cantos Duathlon.

The circuits

The event takes place in the Riofrío reservoir for swimming and a demanding cycling circuit, culminating in a foot race through the streets of the charming city of Riaza.

This town, located in the province of Segovia, is known for its traditional architecture, its rich gastronomy and its natural environment, which includes the Sierra de Ayllón and the Riofrío reservoir.

Open enrollment

Registration for the triathlon is now open and will close at 20:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 19 or when the limit of participants is reached.

Registration prices are €35 for the Sprint distance and €50 for the Olympic distance.

Regarding the rules of the competition, only traditional bicycles are allowed and drafting is allowed in cycling.

The Riaza triathlon is much more than a race, it is a unique experience that combines sport, nature and the opportunity to discover one of the most charming cities in Spain.
