José Luis Olmos and Claire Vallance are awarded the fourth edition of Toro Loco Valencia Triathlon 2013

More than 3.500 athletes have played this weekend the IV edition of the Toro Loco Valencia Triathlon that takes place in the Royal Navy Juan Carlos I.

 

On Saturday the test of the  Women's triathlon, Supersprint and Sprint while on Sunday, it was the turn of the queen test with the Olympic triathlon.

 

 

The route, of 1.500 meters, ran in the calm waters of the dock to conclude in the School of Sailing, from where the athletes accessed the transition area to retire their bike and face the 40 km of cycling, in 4 laps, for a Circuit for the Formula 1 circuit and the City of Arts and Sciences.

 

José Luis Olmos, del Tragaleguas.org, has become the absolute winner of the competition in 02: 06: 23. After him, Manuel Ortega (02: 07: 13), from the Passatge Team, and José Germán Cerezo (02: 07: 19)

 

 In the female category, Claire Vallance, which has already won the Valencia Sprint 2011 Triathlon, has risen this time with the victory in Olympic distance with a time of 2: 20: 37. The British triathlete has been accompanied on the podium by Marta Fernández de Castro (2: 25: 42), second, and Karem Faus (02: 28: 04), third.
