Valencia Triathlon Gran Premio Ibercaja will gather 2.600 triathletes in its third edition

The countdown has begun. In 15 days we will live the launching of the third edition of Valencia Triathlon. An 2012 edition that has sold out and will gather 2.600 athletes next 8 and 9 days in September.

One more year, Saturday is the time for promotional distances with the Supersprint and the Women's Triathlon. In addition, this time adds a third Sprint distance category, the Sprint First Day by Oakley. On Sunday, the Sprint, Paratriathlon and Olympic distance are maintained.

New arrivals

Regarding the novelties, the main scenarios are maintained, as it will swim, pedal and run on the dock of the Royal Navy Juan Carlos I, the urban circuit of Formula 1 and the environment of the City of Arts and Sciences. However, this time the route of 2010 is recovered and the cycling route will not go down inside the CAC, otherwise it will cross the cultural complex over the Pont de l'Assut de l'Or.

On the other hand, 2012 welcomes a new modality. The Flash modality will not be disputed, but a Sprint First Day is added to the Saturday schedule.
