The FETRI has published a video of the cycling circuit

The next 10 and 11 April will be held in the Asturian town of Avilés on Spanish Duathlon Championship.

The FETRI has published a video of what the cycling circuit of the test so that the athletes who are going to participate can recognize it.

The circuits through which the duathletes will travel have been modified to guarantee the safety of the athletes.

Thus, the foot race will take place on the left bank of the Avilés estuary, in a totally isolated area with no possible access for spectators.

The test will have an Individual Time Trial format

The competition format will be individual time trial, with departures separated in a few seconds and avoiding at all times, as in the rest of the activities associated with the event, the agglomeration of people.

There will limitation of participants depending on the existing conditions and determined by the Health Authorities, and both the spaces and the tests themselves will have the appropriate design to avoid risks.

A extremely wide transition area, in the San Agustín dock, which already hosted the transition zone for Age Groups in the 2016 Duathlon World Cup, and is 250 meters long and 20 meters wide.

In turn, the start and finish area will be in the open square to the world of the Niemeyer Center, where it was already located in the 2016 World Championships, and in the 2014 and 2015 nationals.
