València Duathlon by MTRI 2024: A Triumphal Premiere in the Heart of the City  

Last weekend the first edition of the Valencia Duathlon by MTRI 2024 transforming the Paseo de la Alameda into a spectacular setting for duathlon enthusiasts.  

The event, organized by the Valencian Community Triathlon Federation, not only stood out for its privileged location on the Turia River bed, but also for its vibrant and welcoming atmosphere.  

More from 350 athletes They gathered in this emblematic place, demonstrating the growing interest in triathlon in the region. 

The duathlon offered three modalities: individual supersprint, double supersprint and couples supersprint.  

The latter was the most popular, allowing mixed participation and opening the doors to a wide range of athletes, regardless of their level. 

Winners and Featured In the individual supersprint category, the laurels went to Pau Ortega of the Tridimonis and Rebecca Wood of the CDT Resistentia T3.  

The Double Supersprint saw the triumph of Diego Lledo of CT Gandia and Mª Jesús Muñoz of the Tricanet of Berenguer.  

In pairs, the standouts were Guillem Gumbau y David Blanes in masculine, Amparo Ferrer y Montserrat Lloret in women, and in the mixed category, Carolina Font y Tony Font CEA Bétera.
