100 days until the Paris Olympic Games

Just 100 days after the brand new start of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, The world of sports is preparing for one of its most emblematic competitions.

With the men's individual triathlon at 104 days, the women's at 105 and the mixed relay at 110, the entire machinery of athletes and federations is at maximum performance.

Events and Schedule

The triathlon will kick off under the shadow of the Eiffel Tower, with the opening ceremony scheduled for July 26.

The triathletes will compete in a circuit that consists of 1.5 km of swimming, 40 km of cycling and 10 km of running.

Competition Calendar:

  • 27 July: men's individual triathlon
  • 28 July: women's individual triathlon
  • 29 July: mixed relay

Circuits:

  • Swimming: The swim will take place in the River Seine, offering a spectacular and challenging setting.
  • Cycling: The cycling circuit will travel through the streets of Paris, passing by some of the city's most emblematic monuments.
  • Race on foot: The foot race will end on the Champs-Elysées, one of the most famous boulevards in the world.

Qualification and Preparations

The route to Paris is marked by crucial competitions, including the World Cup in Wollongong and events in Chengdu, Yokohama, Huatulco and Samarkand, culminating with the World Triathlon Series in Cagliari.

These events are decisive for Olympic qualification, where athletes from around the world seek to secure their place.
