A cyclist dies when hitting a tourist in Mogán

According to the newspaper 20 minutes, a cyclist of 63 years has died when colliding with a tourism at the 19 kilometer of the GC-505, in the Gran Canaria municipality of Mogán, as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (Cecoes) 1-1-2. 

The event took place yesterday Friday, shortly before the 18.00 hours, when the operational room of the 1-1-2 received an alert in which it was informed of a accident with a seriously injured cyclist.

Subsequently, the acting authorities confirmed that it was a collision with a tourism. The SUC mobilized the medicalized helicopter and two ambulances; one of them, the one of basic life support, was the first to arrive at the place with the emergency doctor of the Health Center of the area, which he could only certify the death of the cyclist as a result of the serious injuries he presented.

The medicalized resources were canceled. Civil Protection collaborated with health and safety resources and the Civil Guard instructed the corresponding report and made the arrangements with the judicial authority.
