The Mallorca Cycling Challenge suspended due to the Covid-19 situation on the island

The XXX edition of Cycling challenge to Mallorca scheduled between January 28 and 31, it has been forced to be suspended due to the health situation of Covid-19 on the island.

The serious health crisis that the island of Mallorca is experiencing has placed it in phase-4 during which sporting events with more than 50 people are not allowed, which makes the competition unfeasible.

Despite the protocol presented by the organization, the health authorities have not considered it possible to hold the test in light of these new restrictions.

Phase four will go into effect on Tuesday the 12th until the 26th, which leaves no room for reaction. The organizers are going to ask the UCI to change the dates to be able to hold this competition.
