The reflection of Fernando Alarza "I want to go out to train without being afraid, just enjoy knowing that I will always go home."

After we knew the first measures of urgent nature that the government is going to carry out, one of our most emblematic triathletes, Fernando Alarza, yesterday published in his social networks the following reflection on the safety of cyclists on the road.

"We are facing a serious problem, a problem that seems to be getting out of hand. We do not talk about any problem, we talk about losing lives and destroying families.

It's hard to say, but every day I go out to train I go out with fear, with the fear of not coming home, of not seeing my family again, of not kissing my girl again and not seeing my loved ones again dear ones

I try not to think about it and just go out to train; But every time they are making it more difficult for us, there is not a day that a colleague has a good scare or even worse, they leave their life on the road.

It is true that they begin to take action; but they have had to lose many lives so that they begin to really fight for our security. I believe that penalties should be hardened, that people who kill people do not get away with their crimes (because for me this is not accidents, they are murders) and these murderers can not be given second chances. Perhaps the comrades who have lost their Do they have a second chance?

We have to react, and do it very strongly. All the lovers of the bike united and making strength to end this problem; and we must do it as much for our safety as for the lives of those who died enjoying the bike.

We have to put an end to this, I want to go out to train without being afraid, just enjoy knowing always that I'm going home.

I feel if I have become sensitive; but I had to say it.

Greetings to all!"
