The Garmin Titan Series returns by MARCA in Málaga

The Titan Series come to its final stretch with the dispute of two new tests, which will meet around 1.000 'bikers'

After the winter break, the GARMIN Titan Series by MARCA return to the fore with two new tests, the IV Casarabonela Marathon (Málaga), which will be played next Friday 28 in February, and the IV City of Almuñécar Marathon (Granada), which will take place on Sunday 2 in March.

The Titan Series reach their final stage with the dispute of two new tests, in which they will meet around 1.000 'bikers'. The Andalusian team for the Titan Desert by GARMIN is looking for three participants that will come out of this spectacular 'challenge' through the provinces of Andalusia.

The best male and the best female will win their place, while the third member of the team will be decided by a contest among all registered participants in these series through the official website www.titandesert.com

Today José Ramón Delgado leads the men's ranking, with 50 points added, but has the heels of Manuel David Benito (36) and to Miguel Ángel Serrano (33). In the female category María Araceli Ramos seems to have no rivals, and has been awarded 3 of the 4 tests disputed so far. Will he get poker this weekend?

The first opportunity will be in the province of Malaga, with the IV Casarabonela Marathon, which has 500 participants. The test runs through impressive places in this privileged enclave of the Sierra de las Nieves. This edition will have 60 km of route and an accumulated unevenness of 1830 km, and will run through the terms of Casarabonela, Carratraca and Ardales, to reach the goal by crossing the steep and labyrinthine Moorish streets of the urban area.

The second appointment of the weekend will be in Almuñécar, on Sunday 2 of March. With 55 km and an accumulated unevenness of 2100 meters, 400 cyclists will try to complete a route that will go through the terms of Almuñécar, Jete, Itrabo and Otivar.

Two spectacular tests that have practically just defined the winners of the Titan Series 'challenge'. There will still be time for the seventh test, on March 22 with the tenth edition of the "Guzmán el Bueno Sierra Morena" marathon in Córdoba.
