GFNY: Registrations open from the July 1
The GFNY (Great New York Fund) is an American test and this year is established in Barcelona. The registrations begin today 1 of July with a reduced price until the next 1 of September.
From the 9h of today 1 of July you can make the inscriptions for the GFNY Barcelona, the international bicycle touring test in Barcelona the next 22 of March of 2015 will be disputed with a deployment of means and organization rarely seen in Europe. The registration period starts with a reduced price of 65 € until the next September 1. If there are available places, the price will go to 85 € from that date until the December 31, and then to 95€ (from the 1 of January of 2015 to the 15 of March). The plazas are limited to 4000 participants and the inscriptions can be made through the official website of the test. The organization has already revealed some details about the proposed route for this first edition of GFNY Barcelona. There will be two routes: one long 160km y Cumulative unevenness 2900m and another more affordable of 110km and 2000m of unevenness. The departure and arrival will be made from Avenida María Cristina, at the foot of the Montjuïc mountain and there will be an expo area from the previous day. Part of the route will go through the famous Costes del Garraf road that will be completely closed to traffic for the dispute of this cyclist march. Although the test is defined as "non-competitive" there will be several timed points and a classification will be made following the sum of those points (not depending on the order of arrival at the goal).
