Meet the great 5 "walls" of the Vuelta a España

Last Saturday 19 of August in the French town of Nimes started a new edition of the Vuelta Ciclista a España and will finish in Madrid the next 10 in September.
A few days ago we presented you the 7 large turnaround ports, climbs more than 10km in length and with altitudes ranging from 1500m to more than 2500. In today's article we are going to highlight 5 "walls" so characteristic of La Vuelta in recent editions. Short climbs, less than 8km, with average slopes that border the 10% and maximums of more than 22%.
STAGE 5 - Wednesday 23 of August

Stage between Villa-real and Sagunto with several ports in the province of Castellón and Valencia. To 25km of goal approximately the port of Garbí is crowned by its slope of Segart.

STAGE 9 - Sunday 27 September
Stage that runs along the coast of Alicante and its interior. It begins in Orihuela "the city of the Spanish triathlon 2017" as a tribute to the poet Miguel Hernández and ends in the town of El Poble Nou de Benitatxell in Cumbre del Sol.
