Madrid-Lisbon by bicycle Do you sign up?

This cyclist tour, travel a total of 77 1km from Madrid to Lisbon in a "non stop" format

 

La Powerade ION4,  it's a test cyclist that allows you to enjoy the experience of cross the Iberian Peninsula  by teams and without mandatory stops; It is a totally new challenge that will be held from September 20-22.

 

 

 Two days enjoying spectacular landscapes by day and night  leaving from Madrid and crossing the different communities of Castilla León, Castilla la Mancha and Extremadura, to enter Portugal through Portalegre, crossing Santarem and finally reaching Lisbon following the course of the Tagus River to the Park of the Nations of Lisbon

 

The test has a linear format 'non stop'which means, no mandatory stops. From the moment of departure, participants must travel  771 kms  with  cumulative positive slope that exceeds the 6.000 altitude meters and a maximum altitude of 900m. 

 

The strategy of the teams and the relays between participants will be essential for the final result of the test, since none of the stops or change of relays is mandatory.  

 

With this new sports format it is expected to cover the lack of great challenges in our country for fans with a great spirit of adventure and who are looking for a new way to enjoy cycling through an unprecedented challenge in the Iberian Peninsula, says the organization.
