Marcel Zamora will face the 24 Hours CycloCircuit

The triathlete will command a team of 4 participants

triathlete Marcel Zamora will contest the second edition of the 24 Hours Cyclo Circuit the 30 and 31 for July. The elite athlete will command a team of four participants who are specialists in long distance triathlon.    

Zamora is a specialist in long distance triathlons with five victories in the Iroman of France and two in Monaco, in addition to 5 victories in the tough Embruman that takes place in the French Alps.

Cyclists against triathletes for a championship.

The race of the 24 hours welcomes both cyclists and triathletes in the dispute of the national Ultradistance Championship. In fact, both pure cycling fans and triathletes are registered in the race. This first edition of the Championship of Spain recognized by the UMCA (Ultra Marathon Cycling Association) has received very good acceptance of the two groups.

Zamora does not reveal the team's strategy

The 24 hours test is held from noon on Saturday 30 July and complete 24 hours with constant relays. The normal thing is to change the participant in batches of 1 hour but the strategy of the changes is a fundamental part of the race.

Marcel has not wanted to reveal what the relay plan will be, although he assures that "the rhythm throughout the night will be fundamental, but we have not yet planned it".

The 24 hours Cycle Circuit is the Spanish Ultraciclimo Championship and a scoring event for the UMCA World Cup.
