Scaloni, Argentine soccer coach, hit by a car while training on a bike in Mallorca
According to the newspaper the world, the Argentine soccer coach Lionel Scaloni, a former Mallorca player, suffered a traffic accident this morning when he was hit by a car in front of the Agora Portals school while he was riding in bike.
Scaloni, who has a house in El Toro (municipality of Calvià), has been transferred to the Son Espases hospital with multiple injuries. The coach has already received the medical discharge.
The coach has suffered a strong blow to the head and a mobile ICU was transferred to the place, which took him to the hospital. Although her prognosis was initially reported to be dire, tests conducted at the hospital center indicate that Scaloni he does not suffer serious injuries.

The accident took place at 10 this morning when a car that was reversing in a public parking lot in front of the aforementioned school did not see the Argentine coach. After being run over when he was riding his bicycle, he fell to the ground, according to the Calvià Local Police in their report.
The Local Police have specified that Scaloni suffered a blow to the head and that the driver of the vehicle has tested negative for breathalyzer control. The driver of the car himself was the one who notified the 112 emergency service to send an ambulance.

Scaloni trains the Argentine team for this year's Copa América, where they will try to win their first major trophy since 1993. The player began his career as a soccer player at Newell's Old Boys, in Rosario, Argentina. Later he went to Deportivo La Coruña, where he won the La Liga title in 2000. He also played for Racing Santander and Mallorca. Then he went through West Ham United, Lazio and Atlanta. He retired as a player in 2015.
In 2016 he was Jorge Sampaoli's assistant for Sevilla, whom he followed when he became Argentina's coach in 2017. Sampaoli was fired as a result of the 2018 World Cup. After leaving, Scaloni remained as provisional coach until last November, when he was appointed coach.
