Transtramuntana 4500 a new challenge of extreme cycling on the island of Mallorca

With 235 kilometers of route and with 12 ascents is the hardest test of the island

 

Today 26 October celebrates the first edition of the Transtramuntana 4500, a cyclotourist test with the greatest unevenness in Mallorca. A non-competitive extreme cycling event that will take place in the Serra de Tramuntana (World Heritage Site).

 

 

The departure will take place in Port de Pollença and will go through the towns of Lluc, Escorca, Sóller, Deiá, Banyalbufar, Estallencs, Andratx, Sa Coma, Es Capdellà, Puigpunyent, Esporles, s´Esglaieta, Palmanyola, Sóller, Escorca, Pollença, to finish again in Port de Pollença. 235 kilometers of route with 12 difficult mountains that will measure the strength of the intrepid runners.

In this initial edition, participation has been by invitation of the organization, upon request on its website.
