A cyclist of 69 years dies after being hit by a truck in Castellón
The vehicle has rammed the man, who was riding a bicycle in this way. He has died after being transferred to the hospital. The driver's status is unknown.
According to the newspaper El Español, a 69-year-old cyclist died this Saturday after being hit by a truck on the A-23 at the height of Barracas (Castellón), the Emergency Information and Communication Center (CICU) reported in a statement.
The events took place this Saturday around 13.00:XNUMX p.m., when the vehicle attacked the man, who was cycling on this road, at the height of this town in Alto Palancia.
A helicopter and a BLS were transferred to the scene and performed CPR to resuscitate him, although they were unsuccessful, and the man died 'in situ'.
At the moment, it is unknown who has been the driver who has taken him ahead, if it was circumstantial or if he showed symptoms of having drunk or of having taken narcotics.
