Anne Haug, out for the Miami T100

This Saturday, March 9, the first edition of the T100 Triathlon World Tour in Miami, an event that was going to bring together the most outstanding triathletes in this sport at the Homestead-Miami Speedway.

However, the competition is being affected by the last minute loss of two key figures: Javier Gómez Noya in the male category and, notably, Anne Haug in the feminine.

Anne Haug, the world champion who led the ranking of the PTO last season, has confirmed through its social media that he will not be able to participate in the race scheduled for this Saturday at 16:50 p.m. (22:50 p.m. in Spain).

"I did all the work over the winter to be ready for the first @t100triathlon race in Miami.

But, sadly, life had other plans, and I am suffering from health problems that make my participation this weekend impossible.

I really hope to be fit and healthy enough to start the @t100triathlon season in Singapore“Haug commented.

The absence of Haug, champion in Hawaii 2019, redraws the women's race.

The Spanish Sara Perez and Marta Sanchez  They will have the opportunity to compete against a cast of elite triathletes in the 100 KM format (2 km of swimming, 80 km of cycling and 18 km of running).
