Antonio Benito will be at IRONMAN Portugal 

It will be his long distance debut

Antonio Benito, the outstanding Spanish triathlete, has announced his return to competition, and he will do it in a big way: he will participate in the IRONMAN Portugal in Cascais next October 21.  

This news has generated great expectation among triathlon fans, especially after Benito decided not compete in the IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship in Lathi, Finland. 

The decision Antonio Benito de not compete in the World Cup It came after a difficult summer. 

Despite his victory in Swansea, he acknowledged that both his body and mind were not responding as expected.  

However, after taking some time to recover and reflect, Benito has decided to return to competition, and what better way to do so than at IRONMAN Portugal.

The IRONMAN Portugal, which will be held in the picturesque city of Cascais, is one of the most emblematic events on the international triathlon scene.  

The competition will begin with a 3.8 km swimming segment in Cascais Bay, followed by 180 km of cycling that will cover part of the Portuguese Riviera, and will end with a 42.2 km race between Cascais and Cabo Raso.
