Antonio Serrat qualifies for the Hamburg final

The Spanish Antonio Serrat has qualified for the Hamburg final of the Super Sprint Triathlon World Championship, which will take place on Saturday, July 16.

Serrat qualified for the final after finishing 10th in his qualifying round, behind Australia's Jacob Birtwhistle.

Serrat, who is the current Spanish triathlon champion, has been in good shape in recent weeks. He won the Pontevedra Triathlon last weekend and also finished second in the Hamburg Triathlon last year.

As for the rest of Spanish David Castro finished 18th, Roberto Sánchez  20º and Genis Grau 26o.

In the men's competition Basque Vilaca y  Kristian Blummenfelt they have taken victory in every round.

Today there have been two qualifying rounds for the finals with 30 men in each, where the top 10 qualify directly.

The rest will have to try in the two repechages in the afternoon where there will be five places available in each round.

In the women's competition Taylor Spivey y  Cassandre Beaugrandsand they have taken the victory.
