Where to watch the Lahti IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship live? 

This weekend, the triathlon world will turn its attention to the IRONMAN World Championship 70.3 2023 to be held in Lahti, Finland.  

The best triathletes in the specialty will meet at this prestigious event. 

Male Category 

Among the featured male triathletes for this edition we find: 

  • Kristian Blummenfelt: The current 70.3 world champion and favorite for Lahti 2023. 
  • Sam long: Known for his prowess on the bike, he will look to improve his position this year. 
  • Jason West: Recognized for having one of the best race times. 
  • Mathis Margier: Despite being less known, he has proven to be up to the greats. 
  • Ben Kanute: After his second place last year, he will look for a better performance. 
  • Frederic Funk: The young German will be looking to surpass his fifth place finish from last year. 

Spain will be represented by Gonzalo Fuentes y Jordi Montraveta in this category. 

Women Category 

The female triathletes to watch are: 

  • Taylor Knibb: The young American is the favorite to defend her 70.3 world title. 
  • Paula Findlay: She has been one of the most consistent triathletes in the 70.3 category. 
  • Daniela Ryf: With five 70.3 world titles, she is one of the most decorated. 
  • Laura Philipp, Emma Pallant-Browne and Tamara Jewett: Triathletes to take into account in this competition. 

Anna Nogera will be the only representative of Spain in this category.

The City: Lahti 

Lahti, located about 60 kilometers north of Helsinki, is known for its stunning nature and its tradition of winter sports.  

Some places of interest are the Salpausselkä, a large ski stadium, and the Sibelius Hall, a concert building next to Lake Vesijärvi.  

Schedule 

The women's competition will be on Saturday, August 26 at 06:30 (Spanish time) and the men's competition on Sunday, August 27 at the same time.

The transmissions will begin at 06:00 (Spanish time) both on Saturday and Sunday.
