Marta Pintanel and David Cantero win the qualifier for the Spanish Duathlon Championship in Águilas 

Today, the Águilas Carnival Duathlon in the city of Águilas, Spain, where the victory has been for Marta Pintanel y David cantero. 

This event has marked the beginning of the duathlon season in Spain, being the first qualifier for the 2024 Spanish Duathlon Championship, which will take place in Avilés on April 6. 

The test has been held under a format that has challenged the resistance and technique of the participants, highlighting among them triathletes of the caliber of Marta Pintanel, by Diablillos de Rivas, and David cantero, from the University of Alicante, who have demonstrated their superiority from the beginning. 

In the female category, victory has been for Marta Pintanel with a time of 1:00:25, followed by Sara Guerrero (1:02:19) and Ghizlane Assou (1:02:22). Pintanel He has led the race with a notable advantage, demonstrating his excellent physical and technical form. 

On the other hand, in the men's category, David cantero He crossed the finish line in first place with a time of 52:08, closely followed by Roberto Sánchez Mantecón (52:17) and Andrés Hilario (53:22).  

The competition between Mason and Sánchez Mantecón has been intense, but finally, Mason He has managed to maintain his leadership until the end.
