Jan Frodeno wins the PTO US Open

Jan Frodeno, the legendary German triathlete, has shown once again why he is considered one of the best in this sport by winning the PTO US Open 2023 tonight in the city of Milwaukee.

In a close and exciting competition, Frodeno bested some of the best triathletes in the world today to win his Last year as a professional.

The test consisted of 2.000 meters of swimming, 80 km of cycling and 18 km of running.

The competition began with the swimming segment, with Aaron Royle led the group. However, Frodeno y Kristian Blummenfelt they were not far behind, staying in the leading group

In the cycling segment  Blummenfelt y Mathis Margier they took the lead, but little by little Frodeno y Magnus ditlev they were recovering differences

Despite being 41 years old, he achieved a time of 1:01:13 in this segment, which helped him to achieve victory with a final time of 3:14:11.

from behind they came Jason West (3:14:39) with a great comeback in the running race and Kristian Blummenfelt (3:14:49), who despite suffering from cramps during the competition, managed to secure third place.
