Javier Gómez Noya for the victory in the Ironman 70.3 of Panama

Next Sunday will be played the Ironman 70.3 from Panama where Javier Gómez Noya will seek to be at the top of the podium and thus qualify for the Ironman 70.3 World Championship that the next September 7 will be held in Mont Tremblant, Quebec, Canada.

The Quebec race promises to be one of the most exciting of the year, as Javier will meet the best athletes in the world at this distance. Last year Javi demonstrated his great ability to adapt to this distance by proclaiming himself European Middle Distance Champion en Half Challenge Barcelona.

For the Panama race, where a total of 950 athletes from more than 50 countries participate, they start as favorites next to Gómez Noya the winner of the 2012 edition, Evan Doherty (New Zealand) and  Oscar de Galindez, (Argentina) winner of the 2013.
