"I'm wanting to prove myself. For me it is a preparation race. One of my goals is the Olympic Games and not only do I have to perform in short distances. This is a time of a lot of training and a lot of work"Said the Galician triathlete, in Vanguardia.com

Noya this 2019 has achieved a victory on IRONMAN 70.3 Geelong, getting the pass to IRONMAN World Championship 70.3 in Nice and in sprint triathlon in New Zealand and is looking forward to testing in this distance already with level triathletes

In this sense, he pointed out that if the World Cup event were in another city, it would not participate: “My training is now very different, but it is my city and I want to try to fight for the victory. As in all the races I go out to, I always go out to win".

"It is a complicated objective, a distance that I have never competed in, I have made shorter and longer, but I hope to be able to perform at a good level"He said.

The mayor of Pontevedra, Miguel Anxo Fernández Lores, thanked Banco Santander for its financial support to a meeting that, according to revealed, will have the participation of 4.000 athletes from around the world.
