For this edition the championship will be played on two separate days, on Friday 28 the women's event and on Saturday 29 the men's event.

In the test there will be more than 6.000 triathletes in groups old fighting for the title in its category.

In the female category, the main favorite is the British Lucy Charles, who arrives at the test after having achieved second place in Kona and who will seek to revalidate his title won last year.

But there will also be high-level triathletes like Flora Duffy, Holly Lawrence, Taylor Knibb, Emma Pallant, Nikki Bartlett o paula findlaand among others.

In the men's event, a duel is expected between the two great favorites, the Norwegians Gustav Iden y Kristian Blummenfelt.

Iden arrives at this event with the IRONMAN world title won a few weeks ago, while Blummenfelt returns to St. George to be crowned world champion again.
