Mario Mola seeks to consolidate his second World Cup in Edmonton

The Mallorcan seeks his fourth victory this year on the world circuit

This next 29 of July will be held the sixth round of the circuit of the ITU Triathlon World Series in the city of Edmonton (Canada) where again we will see the Spaniards fighting for victory. This time it will be about sprint distance.

In the men's category, the first three classified in the World ranking will be on the starting line,  Mario Mola winner in Hamburg, Yokohama and Gold Coast this year, Fernando Alarza ,  Javier Gómez Noya , winner in Abu Dhabi, and accompany them by completing the Spanish representation  Vicente Hernández .

Jonathan Brownlee who did not participate in the last Hamburg test due to a magnesium deficit, is on the starting line with the South African Richard Murray , Jacob Birtwhistle second in Hamburg, Vicent Luis  , Joao Pereira o Richard Varga among others who will surely try to make it difficult for the Spaniards.

Flora Duffy also seeks her fourth consecutive victory

As for the females, our representation will be formed only by Carolina Routier. As for the favorites, the absence of Asheigh Gentle, third in the ranking and Andrea Hewitt.   Katie Zaferes World Ranking leader, Flora Duffy winner of the last three events on the circuit (Yokohama, Leeds and Hamburg), Kristen Kasper third in the ranking are those that will surely dispute the final victory.

The women's event will be held on Saturday, July 29 at 13:06 p.m. local time (21:06 p.m. Spanish time) while the men's test will be at 15:06 p.m. (23:06 p.m. Spanish time)
