Four Spaniards aspire to the title of Multisport Legend in Ibiza

This coming Saturday, April 29, will beginl Multisport World Championship in Ibiza, an event that will attract the island to more than 4.000 athletes coming from all over the planet.

Among all of them, four Spaniards are those who aspire to the title of Multisport Legend: Eusebio Noguera, Carlos Ramírez, Javier López and Juan Carlos Martínez.

Of the 4.000 athletes who will compete in Ibiza, only 17 can opt to become a Multisport Legend.

This title can be obtained by Age Group triathletes who complete at least 5 tests of the Ibiza Multisport World Cup.

Eusebio Noguera: After overcoming a serious motorcycle accident in 2017, Eusebio seeks to cross the finish line in his homeland and become a Multisport Legend.

Carlos Ramirez: With 98 Ironman completed, Carlos aspires to equal Kini Carrasco and be a legend in Ibiza, while preparing to reach 100 Ironman.

Javier López: With the support of his parents, Javier seeks to achieve the title of Multisport Legend and dedicate it to them. In addition, he has completed eight world championships and seeks to be a finisher in all those organized by World Triathlon.

Juan Carlos Martinez: With the aim of giving visibility to people with disabilities, Juan Carlos seeks to become a legend and dedicate his achievement to his club Tri-Tortugas Quart, made up of athletes with ASD, cerebral palsy and intellectual disabilities.

A historic year for the Spanish triathlon

The Ibiza Multisport World Championship will be the first of the 3 major international events that our country will host in this historic year 2023 for the Spanish triathlon.

Next, we will have the European Championship in Madrid from June 2 to 4 and the Grand Final of the World Series in Pontevedra from September 20 to 24.
