Nicola Spirig, gold in London and silver in Rio wins a medium distance test with more than 30 minutes ahead

It is one of the favorites for gold in Tokyo

The Swiss triathlete Nicola Spirig, has achieved victory this past saturday in the Israel 113, a medium distance test getting the record of the test

The Swiss, Olympic champion in London 2012 and silver in Rio 2016 is already preparing for the Tokyo Olympics, and like many triathletes this season they have chosen a medium distance test to debut.

In fact last weekend,  Flora Duffy another one that will surely fight for the Olympic medal won the victory in the IRONMAN 70.3 South Africa, which was his debut in the distance.

More than 30 minutes over the second classified

In the test, Nicola Spirig has achieved a clear victory with a time of 4:47:26 followed by Katharina grohmann (5: 23: 29) and for Fairy Maces (5: 37: 33) in third position.
