15 years of the first ITU elite victory of Javier Gómez Noya

Today 28 of February are 15 years of the first victory of Galician Javier Gómez Noya in an ITU event, the beginning of a sports career that has led him to win 5 ITU World Championships, 2 IRONMAN 70.3 World Titles, an XTERRA World Championship, silver at the Olympic Games in 2012 and many victories in various events and distances .

This year, after he announced his return to the ITU competition, who will do it at the Montreal WTS, we want to remember his beginnings in the international triathlon, with his victory in the African Cup of Bloemfontein that was disputed in the 2004 year that was disputed over Olympic distance.
