7.000 participants in Challenge Taiwan, Asia's largest long-distance triathlon

The Professionals compete again since the Covid restrictions were lifted in the country.

Challenge Taiwan It is the largest long distance triathlon in Asia and will be held on April 22, where for the 2023 edition it has beaten a new record with more than 7.000 athletes.

The proof It will have long and medium distances, where there will be a professional category again,  since the Covid restrictions were lifted in the country.

The Australian Caleb Nobel tops the men's start list after coming close to podium at Challenge Wanaka and finishing third in the 70.3 Tasmanian.

Next to him, will be his compatriot kurt mcdonald, the French Kevin Portman and the promising New Zealander Ben hamilton or the local hero, Tuan Chun Chang, who comes to the test after getting third place in the 70.3 of Davao.

In the women's race, Amelia Watkinson from New Zealand, is one of the favourites, although she will have to face triathletes like Dimity Lee Duke , Amy van Tassel Courtney gilfillan o Cassie Heaslip among others.

11 editions of the test

In the 11th edition of Challenge Taiwan, it takes place in the south of Taiwan, in Taitung, facing the Pacific Ocean.

The start will be given at 7:00 am local time on Saturday, April 21, and can be followed live on challenge-family.live.
