Alberto González third in the Napier World Cup

Today was celebrated Triathlon World Cup in the city of Napier, New Zealand, where the victory went to the Australian Callun McClusky and the Australian sophie linn, on a day marked by heat and a particularly rough sea that tested the triathletes from the first moment.

The test was held in a sprint format, with a 750 m swim, a cycling segment of approximately 20 km distributed over 4 laps, and ending with a 5 km run.

In the men's category, the victory has gone to Callun McClusky with a time of 49:42, followed by Hayden Wilde (49: 47) and by Alberto González (49:49), who, after a spectacular effort in the last part of the competition, secured his position on the podium.

In the foot race, McClusky pulled ahead to win the race, while Alberto GonzálezAfter a great effort, he made a final sprint that took him to third place, just 8 seconds behind the winner.

Genis Grau, the other Spaniard in the test, finished in 33rd position

In the female category, sophie linn was proclaimed the winner with a time of 56:35, followed closely by the British Sophie alden y Olivia Mathias.
