Alex Yee wins the Paris Test Event

In an exciting run-up to the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, the Test Event de Paris has been the scene of an exciting competition that has made it clear who will be the triathletes to take into account next year.

With the participation of elite athletes and emerging promises, this event has been a unique opportunity to assess performance and preparation for the next Olympic Games. 

Men's competition: Alex Yee shines in paris 

Alex Yee of Great Britain has made a forceful statement one year from the Olympic Games with a dominating victory in the men's competition. 

The Tokyo silver medalist led from the start, displaying his prowess in swimming, cycling and running, finishing with a 13-second lead, but was celebrating victory during the final metres. 

Second place went to the Portuguese Basque Vilaca, who managed to overcome several competitors in the last meters of the foot race, third was the French Dorian Coninx.

The competition was marked by the withdrawal of Hayden Wilde (NZL) and Vincent Luis (FRA), but the battle for second place was intense, with Basque Vilaca (BY) outperforming Dorian Coninx (FRA).  

The Olympic champion Kristian Blummenfelt (NOR) finished in ninth place. 

The Spanish

Roberto Sánchez Mantecón He was the best classified Spaniard, managing to enter the Top 10. 

Mantecón jumped into the fray early on and showed great skill in all segments of the competition. His tenth place is an encouraging result for the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. 

Sergio Baxter he also had an outstanding performance, finishing in 15th place.  

Genis Grau he finished in 24th position, showing a constant improvement throughout the competition.  

Antonio Serrat he finished in 27th position, despite having to serve a penalty box during the competition.  

Regrettably, David Castro he had to leave the competition. Despite this setback, his participation in the event is an indicator of his potential and his commitment to the sport.

Beth Potter wins in the women's event

In the women's test held yesterday Beth Potter of Great Britain took the victory in the women's competition on a sunny day with a pleasant temperature. 

The Paris Test Event has been an important milestone on the road to the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
