More 1300 duathletes will meet at the Duathlon Spain Championship

The best national duathletes will visit Soria next 11 and 12 in April, to compete in a championship that has beaten the number of participants in this modality. In turn, and for the first time, there will also be a waiting list in the female elite competition.

The event was attended by the mayor of Soria, Carlos Martínez; Gustavo Martínez, Sports of the Provincial Council; Manuel López Represa, delegate of the Junta de Castilla y León; José Hidalgo, president of the Spanish Triathlon Federation; Amancio del Castillo, president of the Federation of Castilla y León; Lourdes Andrés, Councilor for Sports of the Soria City Council and Rubén Andrés of the Castilian-Leon Federation.

For Carlos Martinez, the celebration of this competition is based on the importance for Soria hosting events of this magnitude, "Sport is a hallmark of the city, which means quality of life for citizens and also means economic dynamism and important social with events of these characteristics ".
