The La Santa Volcano Triathlon Club celebrates its 40th anniversary

El La Santa Volcano Triathlon Club is preparing to celebrate its 40th anniversary, a milestone that consolidates it as one of the most emblematic events on the international triathlon calendar.

This prestigious triathlon, which takes place on the island of Lanzarote, promises to be more spectacular than ever this year, attracting participants and spectators from all over the world.

The Volcano Triathlon, framed in the calendar of FETRI scoring tests, is disputed in olympic triathlon format: 1,5 kilometers of swimming, 40 by bicycle and 10 on foot.

The test will have its start and finish at the Club La Santa facilities, In addition, young people between 7 and 17 years old will have the opportunity to compete in the Volcano Kids, a social race with the aim of promoting sports and active life among the little ones.

This test will be held on Friday the 26th, starting at 16:30 p.m.

This year, the event has the invaluable support of the Government of the Canary Islands, the Cabildo of Lanzarote, Lanzarote European Sports Destination and the Town Councils of Tinajo and Teguise, reaffirming the island's commitment to sport and the international triathlon community.

Club La Santa, organizer of several highly renowned events, offers endurance sports lovers several events this year.

On May 18, the IRONMAN Lanzarote will challenge the triathletes again in one of the toughest tests on the circuit.

Followed by the Lanzarote Cycling Tour on September 28 and 29, and culminating with the Lanzarote International Running Challenge from November 24 to 27, which will include the popular Club La Santa Night Run.
