The Doñana 2023 Challenge closes registrations in 45 minutes

The fourteenth edition of the Andalucía Doñana Challenge, has once again proved its popularity among triathlon fans.

On the first day of enrollment, 350 numbers available to participate in the competition sold out in just forty-five minutes.

A unique tour

The Doñana Challenge, which will be held on Saturday 21th October 2023 in the town of Sanlúcar de Barrameda (Cádiz), is known for its route.

The participants will have to cross places and environments of unique beauty and sensitivity, such as the mouth of the Guadalquivir and the Doñana National Park.

News on the Doñana 2023 Challenge Tour

This edition presents some novelties, especially in the route. The test has a different order of disciplines, first cycling, followed by swimming, to finish with the race on foot, on Malandar beach.

The segment distance from cycling has been extended from 80 to 97 km, and foot race has increased from 20 to 21 km.

Swimming, at the mouth of the Guadalquivir, maintains the 1,4 kms. In addition, the number of triathletes who will be able to participate in the event has increased from 250 to 350 in 2023.
