This Sunday, October 1, Calella will become the epicenter of the European triathlon by hosting the Qatar Airways IRONMAN Barcelona and IRONMAN 70.3 Barcelona.
With almost 5.000 participants, this event is positioned as the second largest triathlon festival in Europe.

At the Qatar Airways IRONMAN® Barcelona, a total of 2.800 triathletes will compete, 91% of whom are foreigners of up to 85 different nationalities.
At IRONMAN 70.3 Barcelona, the figure stands at almost 2.000 triathletes with 83% foreign participation. The United Kingdom leads the registrations, followed closely by France, Germany and Italy.
