The European Games of Baku 2015, will offer direct NOC to compete in the 2016 Rio Olympic Games

The Baku 2015 European Games will be the largest multi-sport event in the entire continent. The capital of Azerbaijan thus becomes a modern and dynamic city for the practice of sports.

These games will host more than 6.000 athletes from the continent in 17 days of competition where a total of 20 different sports will meet (16 Olympic, 4 non-Olympic)

These include athletics or gymnastics, but also some new sports such as 3 × 3 Basketball, beach soccer or Karate.

11 sports will offer points for the classification of the Olympic Games of Rio 2016

As far as our sport is concerned, the triathlon, the women's test will take place on June 13, while the men's on June 14. The winner of this race will earn their NOC to compete in the Rio 2016 Olympic games.
