Mario Mola starts a new stage with Joel Filliol as coach

The Mallorcan Olympic triathlete, of 22 years, has decided to change of airs for a few months in order to take a step forward at the beginning of the cycle that should lead him to fight for the medals in Rio 2016.

 

 

The athlete of the ADA Calvià has chosen the one that many consider the best technician within the specialty in the whole planet. Under the discipline of Canadian Joel Filliol have passed the Brownlee brothers, Helen Jenkins, Will Clarke, or teams from Great Britain and Canada.

 

He was responsible for the resurrection of the first Olympic champion of this specialty, Simon Withfield, and he and his work group has been entrusted Mola, in whom the coach has placed many hopes in his face as a pitcher of young values ​​of triathlon. And one of them is the Mallorcan, junior and Olympic world champion in London 2012.

 

Living a new experience, perfecting knowledge or polishing the swimming segment are some of the challenges Mario faces over the coming months. The United States, more specifically Florida, will be its headquarters at the start of 2013, preparing between January and April its first major test, the San Diego World Series.

 

Filliol does not accept just anyone, and Mola's conditions have made him one of his chosen ones. "Same line, more work and greater objectives, as well as a new motivation in this beginning of an exciting stage that we trust will allow us to continue growing", Mario summarizes before his new challenge.
