Preview of the LD Triathlon World Cup in Ibiza:

This Sunday, May 7th, within the framework of the Ibiza multi-sport world championships, the Long Distance Triathlon World Championship.

In the test the Triarmada will be made up of 10 components where they have options

The Ibiza LD Triathlon World Cup will be held at the following distances:

• 3 km of swimming
• 116 km of cycling
• 30 km of foot race

Spanish triarmada: main candidates

The Spanish team will be made up of 10 triathletes with options to get a medal.

Among the main candidates to stand out in the competition, we find Víctor Arroyo, Spanish long-distance champion, faces the test now Pello Osoro who arrives in Ibiza with a great role achieved in this 2023.

We also highlight Eneko Llanos that he will look for a good result in one of his last competitions as a professional. Albert Moreno will debut this season.

In the female category we find Gurutze Frades which is one of my favourites. Helene Alberdi  y Anna Noguera who returns to compete after his fifth place at the Club La Santa HOMBRE DE HIERRO 70.3 Lanzarote

In the male category, Joe Skipper (United Kingdom) is the top candidate to win the world championship, but triathletes like Clement mignon (France), Cody Beals (Canada), Patrick Nilsson (Sweden), Richard Varga (Slovakia), Maurice Clavel o Jesper Svensson (Germany) among others.

In the female category, katt matthews (United Kingdom) is the big favorite, after her victory at IRONMAN Texas.

But we must take into account Ruth Astle (United Kingdom) or Spanish Gurutze Frades

The race will begin on Sunday, May 7 at 08:00 in the morning for the men's category, while the women's category will begin 5 minutes later, at 08:05.
