Ali Saad and Elena Aguilar win in Water Triathlon in Jaén

The Sevillian Samer Ali Saad and Elena Aguilar from Granada, international with the Spanish team, have prevailed today in the IV Villa del Agua Triathlon, a test that has been held in Marmolejo (Jaén), with the participation of two hundred athletes among all categories .

Saad, of 30 years and who has defended the colors of the Spanish team in forty-five occasions, dominated the event, which had a distance of 1 kilometer to swim, 20 of cycling and 5 on foot, ahead of Germán Rodríguez from Cádiz and the malagueño Javier Iglesias, who won with a difference of one minute and a half and three, respectively.
The Granada-born Elena Aguilar was the winner in the women's event by being ahead of the Sevillian María Puyol, who until the last minute opted to participate in the London Olympic Games, and the Malaga-born Rocío Molas Flores.
Aguilar won with a time of 1 hour, 6 seconds and 39 hundredths, while Puyol did 1: 10.59; while Rocío Molas Flores invested 1: 15.6. EFE
