The Championship of Castilla y León duathlon will be played this Saturday in Fuentemolinos

The riparian town of Fuentemolinos Once again, this weekend, a duathlon cross test will be held. It will be the 23 Saturday in March when more than 100 athletes compete in the Championship of Castilla y León de Duatlón in sprint category from a quarter to four in the afternoon. To do this, they will have to face a four-kilometer walking distance and 800 meters, then two laps to a BTT circuit that will add up to a total of 18 km and, finally, another 2.400 race meters.

The Diputación de Burgos, through the Provincial Institute for Sport and Youth, and the Federation of Castilla y León de Triathlon organize this event. Its president, Amancio del Castillo, has shelled some of the favorite names to get on the podium.

It will be the fifth time that the duathlon touches the streets of Fuentemolinos, a small town dedicated to this event and whose city council collaborates with the organization, and after being twice the Spanish Cup, on this occasion it has been chosen to host the regional championship.

The federated race is accompanied by another popular race that will start at six in the afternoon. Registration is open until Thursday at midnight through the website www.triatloncastillayleon.com.
