Success at the 1º TriMadrid Club Triathlon Talk

Last Saturday in the Madrilenian town of Tres Cantos the first place Triathlon talk imparted by the TriMadrid Triathlon Club  where more than 20 people participated in it.

A very pleasant talk that provided quality data and information to the athletes who came to it and where they could also share experiences and gave interesting advice for training and competition.

Moncada Angel, President and trainer of the TriMadrid club was in charge of opening this talk where, after thanking the attendees, he presented some guidelines and useful tips to get started in the world of triathlon from any sport, as well as some examples of training for those who want to consider debuting in the middle distance. In addition, during his presentation, he gave some examples of sports nutrition, before, during and after competition, for a Half Distance Triathlon.

In the triathlon talk it was also possible to have the presence of Ángel López, Physiotherapist and Manager FisioLiteratos in Tres Cantos, which has been in the world of triathlon since the beginning of the 90 with great participation in Ironman events, a luxury for the attendees to have their first-hand advice from a Physiotherapist specialized in the world of Triathlon. Angel told us, among other things, the typical injuries that triathletes usually have and gave attendees some practical examples of stretching to avoid the most common injuries.

Cristina Velasco, IronSport manager showed us the importance of knowing how to choose the shoes well to train, as well as the importance of a footprint study for sports performance and to avoid injuries. The session ended with a demonstration of a live tread study.

A talk that was very successful for the quality of its contents, and that will be the prelude to several projects that this club has in progress -Charlas and Training Camp- that little more than 1 year of life already has more than 60 triathletes.
