Hed launches its new Vanquish and JET 70 Express wheels

The American brand specialized in aerodynamic wheels for cycling and triathlon, has just launched two models on the market, some with a profile for a 100% carbon cover system and others for triathlon with a versatile character.

The HED Vanquish they seek to achieve the comfort of having a tube and tire on a 100% carbon wheel. It is a profile wheel for a clincher system made of 100% carbon and is available in standard, track and Powertap versions.

According to the brand, they are resistant and have been tested both for training and for cycling or triathlon competitions. “The C2 width creates an extremely aerodynamic wheel-tyre junction. The Hed Vanquish combine the aesthetics of tubular wheels with the comfort of clincher wheels”, commented those responsible.

One of the novelties presented by the Vanquish is a new carbon compound specially designed for the braking surface, which seeks to guarantee more homogeneous and more reliable braking.

They announce a weight of 1633 g the pair, constituting therefore a lighter alternative to the well-known Hed Jet60.

Meanwhile, the Hed JET 70 Express They are wheels oriented for all kinds of distances and specialties in triathlon, their objective being medium and long distance and their compatibility with sprint and Olympic triathlons. In cycling, his destiny is the flat and medium-mountain stages.
