Lockbox the silicone portfolio of the athletes
Lockbox, is a watertight silicone wallet designed, initially, for cyclists to carry comfortably and safely the basics to carry the documentation and money to drink something at the end of the exit.
Lockbox was born with the aim of maximizing the capacity and performance of a small space -of only 99x16x19mm- and thus enhance the comfort of the portfolio.
Lockbox combines a great conceptual simplicity with the technological complexity that this challenge requires. In one part you can store two coins on which they fit, in a millimetric way, cards and standard measurement cards. On the opposite side there is a pocket called Pelican Pocketdesigned to carry bills, tickets, a lflat wash or an SD card among others.
Waterproof, minimalist, attractive, and with Platinum silicone as the basis of the product. Unlike normal silicone, the Platinum version improves durability, lightness and resistance to compression deformation. In addition to these more technical conditions, Lockbox is made of silicone because this is a soft material, so in case of fall or impact, the athlete is not at risk of suffering any damage.
In June of 2012 the distribution of Lockbox begins and soon it began to popularize between the habitual ones of the two wheels, thanks in part to the affinity that sportsmen of the stature of José Hermida - 4 Olympic times -, Kilian Jornet - maximum reference of trail running - or the Spanish Olympic synchronized swimming team showed towards the product.
Lockbox It has been thought to transport documentation, cards and money in a comfortable and safe way. To guarantee the maximum quality of materials and finishes, all production is carried out in Barcelona and nearby.
