Ecodumad Cross will be the Spanish Championship of Duathlon Cros

Coinciding with the week of sports in San Agustín de Guadalix, 34 km from Madrid, the Ecodumad Cros will be held on June 30 and July 1. During the weekend, in the city called "the door to the northern sierra of Madrid", the Spanish Duathlon Cross championship and a unique event in the world, a Duathlon Cross Time Trial by teams will be held over the weekend.

Under the auspices of the San Agustín de Guadalix City Council and the Madrid and Spanish Triathlon Federations, a very particular weekend for the Spanish Cross Duathlon will be held on June 30 and July 1. The tests will begin on Saturday June 30 at 9 a.m. with a popular individual duathlon (distances: 5 km race-10 km bicycle-2,5 km race), it will continue with the Spanish championship of the discipline at 11 o'clock (distances 6 km race-20 bicycle-3 race) and will end on Sunday July 1 with a unique test in the world, a Duatlon Cross Time Trial by teams (distances 10 km race-30 km bicycle-5 km race). Both the Spanish championship and the time trial will be scored for the national ranking.

Spectacular and demanding routes, respect and integration with the environment of the area, the promotion of San Agustín as a sports and tourist town in Madrid, improvement, perseverance and teamwork are the distinguishing marks of Ecodumad. Ecodumad was born with the ambition to establish itself as a benchmark event on the national calendar. The organizers expect the attendance of more than 600 athletes during the weekend.

Behind the organization of Ecodumad is the experience of the team that organizes Ecotrimad, the successful middle-distance triathlon sponsored by the Community of Madrid that was held on May 12 in Buitrago de Lozoya.
