In this way, Tri Challenge has already become an active part of the tri-sport world.

In an ideal location for this type of test, with a clean and safe avenue for skating and a beautiful and varied route for the mtb and the race on foot, the 9 start in the morning was given to this 1th edition of Tri Challenge Boadilla del Monte. 100 were the athletes who inaugurated this unprecedented event, which is now part of the triathlon offering, for the moment in the Community of Madrid. To emphasize the feminine participation, that with approximately 25% of the total, supposes an enormous success in this sense.

As soon as the starting gun was fired, the skaters quickly took the lead, marking a vertigo rhythm that exceeded 50 km / h in some section of the route. Meanwhile, the duathletes and triathletes, as well as all the less skilful with the skates, had a more sustained and controlled rhythm waiting to come back in the other segments. After concluding the 6,5 km of race on skates, the participants entered the transition zone to get rid of the skates and take their bicycles all terrain. Ahead, 15 km of route very varied and enjoyable in mtb that was causing several changes in the classification. And finally 4 km of race on foot in which we could enjoy spectacular comebacks.

The first to cross the finish line and, therefore, to go down in history as the winner of the 1º Tri Challenge Boadilla del Monte, was Miguel Ángel Garnacho. After him, in second position, Julio Meneses, and third Daniel Ríos. Other "illustrious" who took the first places were Alberto Díaz, Yeray Toquero and Jaime Menéndez de Luarca, among others.

In parallel, the relay category was also disputed, with teams of three members in which each of them carried out a segment. The winners in men's relay were Ángel Damián González, Ignacio Carrascosa and Samuel Martínez, while in women Ana Ramiro, Tata Ramiro and Cristina Amador.

The winners received their trophies from the hand of Adolfo Arias, councilor for sports of Boadilla del Monte, who were also given a GOW pack valued at €169 (to the two absolute winners, male and female). Adolfo Arias wanted to highlight the originality of this test, committing himself, from the city council, to try to ensure that it continues in the coming years.
