Lance Armstrong finishes Croix 70.3 in third place
Last Sunday Lance Armstrong competed in the Ironman Croix's 70.3 in pursuit of Kona qualification, where she dominated the cycling phase but finished third in this triathlon in the US Virgin Islands.
Armstrong finished 3: 37 minutes behind the winner Andy Potts, also American. The Texan from 40 years completed the swim test of 1,93 kilometers (1,2 miles) in 24: 29 minutes.
